Brigzy & Helenski's Custom UT [B&H Custom UT] started in 1999 in Canada. The server was located in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. For 2 years, our server was packed with UT enthusiasts. I made over 70 UT DM maps and a few CTF maps for the server when it was running. The server shut down in Sept 2001 when we moved back to New Zealand and that was that ! I never had any reason to post my maps on any major websites so they have been gathering dust for the past few years. Helenski and I think it's time we blew the cob webs out of them with some Classic DM Warfare ! My TB Maps are designed for "game play", some are no frills but are full of action due to the open layouts of the playing area.

To play on the server you MUST have the following:

UT 436 Patch or higher and the UTBonus Packs 1 and 4, you can get them all on this page.

At the moment we are running over 140Custom DM Maps, Map Vote LA13, Rocket Jump Enabler, More Gore, UTDC20 anti-cheat. AuthChecker v138 anti-cheat, UTPureRC7G anti-cheat, Disgraced Pump Gun and Telefrag Bonus. You can get all these files as you join a game. Just connect to the server and you will be playing in seconds. The redirects are coming from our own redirect server [for UZ Compressed Maps]. You will also download a couple of skins as you join.


Mutators Running On The Server

Rocket Jump Info
Aim your rocket launcher at your feet and fire a rocket, then try 2, 3 and so on. Make sure you aim completely down if you are looking for hieght. The damage from your rocket to yourself is set to zero, but the fall may kill you. Tip: The server has 100% Air Control set so you can steer your way through the air to land at a predetirmined location. Often that location is high like a building top or water for a soft landing. I tend to use 2 rockets to get lots of hieght and as I soar into the sky I select my Redeemer and launch it from high above other players who are preoccupied and don't have time to escape. If you nail 4 players and die from the fall, you are still up 3 points :-) You can also rocket jump, soar through the air while loading 2-3 rockets or more and come flying out of the sky and let all your rockets go a split second before you land on their head. This way you will completely dispatch them, and you will be soaring through the air again loading another batch of rockets. Players will have no idea where you came from and where you dissapeared to because it's so fast. In a nut shell, Rocket Jumping Rocks! We will be turning down the Rocket Jump to 150% to start with to calm things down. 300% is a bit full on.

Telefrag Bonus
We run the Translocator (disk) in all game types and hae Telefrag Bonus Mutator running. Shoot your disk at a player and use alt-fire to
go to the disk, if you "go to your disk" in the same place that the player is standing, you will Telefrag the player. With this mutator running
you will gain 2 points per telefrag.

Disgraced
Disgraced is a cool mutator that Verbally Disgraces your oponent when you Pump Gun (Hammer) them.

More Gore
More Gore is a Mutator that enhances the effects of being blown to pieces. You basically explode when it's set on #4, which is where we have it.

Map Vote LA13
You vote for the map you want to play, all 140 maps available for voting either in game or between.

Stranglove Ride The Redeemer V203

Instructions :
Once you are armed with a Strangelove launcher, use alt-fire to launch and ride the rocket.
Keys
forward/back: throttle up/down
jump or alt-fire: eject
fire: toggle afterburners
duck: toggle "shoot mode" - so hit duck/crouch button and then "next weapon" to choose your poison and start shooting as you fly-by. While riding, toggling to "shoot mode" will allow you to aim and fire your regular weapons. You must switch back to "pilot mode" to control the rocket.
next/prev weapon: warhead status (either armed or not)

If you run your rocket into a teammate, they will ride shotgun on the back of your rocket, becoming your gunner.

Your rocket can run out of fuel, so be sure to pick up any hovering fuel cores you see lying around. Your afterburner eats fuel quickly, but will give you a massive speed boost.
